Hiking Sullivan’s Rock

sullivansrock-mapBack in Perth, it is still comparably chilly, windy and rainy…Instead of going diving we therefore were wandering around in the Darling range, just outside of Perth. We largely followed a part of the Bibbulum track from Sullivan’s Rock to Monadnocks campsite and back, resulting in a roughly 20 km hike with a couple of little peaks, as pictured below. If time would not be an issue the Bibbulum track would be a nice one to complete, running from Perth to Albany, stretching over 1,000 km… Nonetheless, it was a very nice hike, with a few black cockatoos, some wallabies and a lot of impressive, colourful wildflowers, burnt trees and beautiful panoramas…Recommendable track for the not too hot season…
