Diving North Mole

This was the first dive in my new equipment, and it was a rather lucky one…Just a doorstep away lies this vessel, often referred to as the Gareenup vessel, which is not the Gareenup vessel (but rather a stell hull vessel of unknown origin, lying on the spot where the wooden Gareenup sank). We were lucky enough, to have very little swell and very high visibility, which made this a very pleasant dive. Wildlife we spotted included rays, a little Port Jackson shark, Pufferfish, Old wife fishes, lobsters, nudibranches, Bullseye fishes, a blackfinned snake eel looking out of the sand and some stingers.
