Weekend in Margaret River

The Margaret River area is one of the prime, near enough location to spend a short holiday, away from Freo. There is plenty of wine to be tasted, waves of all sizes to be surfed, microbreweries to be savoured, freshly roasted coffees to be enjoyed, fish to be seen, and forests to be visited. Given we only started the trip on Saturday and came back on SUnday, I think it’s fair to say we didn’t do too bad, went of wine tastings (bought 1 case of Eagle Bay Shiraz), saw the sting rays up close in Hamelin Bay, snorkelled all the way from the beach to the end of, the 2km long, very colourful Busselton Jetty, and again aroud Gannet Rocks, between Dunsborough and Eagle Bay, stayed in Boranup at the forest camp site with a little Camp fire and a BBQ.
